"Credit Report" — reports provided by Lets Safe LLP containing Credit Data.
"Database" — internal and third-party databases used to generate reports.
"Force Majeure" — events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, war, or technical failures.
"Order" — your request for Lets Safe LLP to supply services.
"Services" — tenant screening, credit checks, debt recovery, and related services.
"Service Hours" — 9am–6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding UK bank holidays).
"Subject" — an individual, company, or partnership based in the UK or EU.
"Third Party Data" — information supplied by external data providers.
"Third Party Suppliers" — any provider of Third Party Data.
"We", "Us", "Our" — Lets Safe LLP
"Website" — www.letssafe.com and associated subdomains.
"You", "Your", "Client" — any person or organisation using our services.

2. Commencement and Duration

2.1 These terms apply from the moment you access your account or place an order, and remain in effect unless terminated.

2.2 We may update these terms at any time by posting changes on our website. Continued use of the site or services signifies your acceptance of any updates.

3. Our Services

3.1 We will use reasonable efforts to provide services during our service hours.

3.2 Services may also be accessed outside service hours via the website using your login credentials.

3.3 We reserve the right to decline service requests at our discretion.

3.4 Our services are intended only for landlords, letting agents and tenants.

4. Your Responsibilities

4.1 You must not tamper with or misuse the website or alter any reports.

If you breach this clause, we may:

Suspend or terminate services.
Refuse to deliver credit reports (even if paid for).
Take legal action where appropriate.

5. Credit Data Licence

5.1 You are granted a non-transferable licence to use the Credit Data for internal use only.

5.2 You must not store, sell, redistribute, or alter the data outside the format provided.

5.3 Credit Data must remain confidential and accessed only by authorised personnel, in line with data protection laws.

6. Bank Account Verification

6.1 Any bank account verification we use will only be initiated with your consent.

7. Charges & Payment

7.1 Payment must be made in advance via card or PayPal, unless an account has been arranged.

7.2 Account holders are billed monthly and must pay within 14 days of invoice.

7.3 Late payments over 30 days will incur interest at 4% above Lloyds Bank base rate, calculated daily.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 All intellectual property related to Credit Reports and Data remains the property of Lets Safe LLP or our third-party suppliers. You must not dispute or infringe these rights.

9. Website and Platform Use

9.1 This website and platform is designed for UK use. You are responsible for ensuring local compliance if accessing it outside the UK.

9.2 We aim for uninterrupted service but cannot guarantee availability or error-free operation.

10. Credit Data Disclaimer

10.1 Credit Data may include unverified third-party information. Use it to inform — not replace — your decision-making.

10.2 We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any data provided and are not liable for decisions made based on this data.

10.3 Delivery times are estimates and depend on third-party response speeds.

10.4 We are not liable for:

Loss of business, profit, or contracts
Indirect or consequential losses
Loss caused by third-party claims

10.5 Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific order involved in the claim.

11. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by English law. All disputes will be handled by the English courts.

12. Entire Agreement

These terms represent the full agreement between you and Lets Safe LLP. They override any prior communications or agreements.

13. Invalidity

If any term is found to be invalid, the rest of the agreement remains enforceable.

14. Termination

14.1 We may terminate your access to services if:

We suspect fraudulent use.
You fail to pay an overdue invoice within 30 days.
You breach material terms and do not remedy the breach within 14 days.

14.2 Upon termination:

Your account will be deactivated.
You must destroy or return all credit reports received.
